Serbian residency: which route fits you, what it costs, and where people get stuck
A free live session for people planning a move to Serbia in the next 12 months who want to understand the residence permit process before they spend money on it.
This session covers temporary residence in Serbia. We run these sessions every week, each on a different topic: residency, business setup, citizenship and property.
Next live session: Tuesday 22 September 2026
13:00 Central European Time · 12:00 UK · 7:00 AM US Eastern
45 minutes: about 25 minutes of teaching, then live Q&A. Can't make it live? Register anyway. Every registrant gets the replay within two hours, available for seven days.
General information only. Not legal, tax or immigration advice for your situation.
What you'll leave with
- Which basis for a temporary residence permit fits your situation: business, employment, property, family, or something else, and why the choice matters more than people expect.
- The documents and timing that have to exist before you apply, including the ones that routinely take weeks: apostilles, translations, address registration.
- The three mistakes that cost people months, and how to avoid each one.
- A simple decision map you can screenshot and use on your own case. General information. The decision on any application rests with the Serbian authorities.
This session is for you if you're a remote worker, business owner, retiree or family planning to live in Serbia, and you'd rather understand the process than guess at it.
It's probably not for you if you're looking for a way to get residency without spending any time in Serbia, or you need a specific answer on your own file today. That's what a consultation is for, not a webinar.
What we'll cover (45 minutes)
- The main routes to a temporary residence permit and who each one suits (10 min)
- What has to be in place before you file: documents, address, timing (10 min)
- The mistakes that cost months: wrong basis, bad sequencing, arriving unprepared (5 min)
- Live Q&A. Bring your situation (20 min)

Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. The webinar is free. If you want your own case looked at afterwards, the Relocation Roadmap consultation is €49 and credits in full toward any service booked within 90 days. Nothing in the webinar requires it.
Will it be a sales pitch?
About three of the 45 minutes are about how to work with us. The rest is the process, taught properly.
I'm not sure which route I'm on. Should I still come?
That's exactly who it's for.
Can you tell me if I'll be approved?
No, and nobody honestly can. The decision rests with the Serbian authorities. What we can do is show you what a complete, correctly prepared application looks like.
I'm in North America and 7 AM is early.
Register anyway. The replay lands within two hours and stays available for seven days.
What happens after you register
You'll get a confirmation email with your personal joining link straight away, a reminder the day before and one an hour before. After the session you'll get the replay. Registering for a webinar does not book a consultation or commit you to anything.
How the session runs.
This is a live session with a real host, not a recorded video on a timer. Attendee cameras and microphones are disabled for the whole session, so you are not seen or heard. Other attendees cannot see your name and cannot see who else is in the room. Questions go through the chat box and are visible only to the host — other attendees do not see what you ask, though the host does see your name alongside your question. The session is recorded for people who cannot attend live. The recording captures the host's screen and voice only; it does not capture attendee names, cameras, microphones or chat. You will receive the replay by email whether or not you attend. The session runs on WebinarGeek, which processes this data on our instructions, and we keep the recording for twelve months.
