How long does it take to get Serbian residency?
Temporary residency approval typically takes 4–6 weeks from complete document submission. The process requires proof of accommodation, a valid passport, and a stated purpose of stay. We manage document preparation and submission so you don't need to navigate it alone.
Can a foreigner register a company in Serbia?
Yes. Foreigners can fully own and register a Serbian DOO (limited liability company) without citizenship or prior residency. Registration takes 5–7 business days and requires a registered address and local bank account — both of which we provide as part of the setup service.
What is the corporate tax rate in Serbia?
Serbia's corporate income tax rate is 15% — one of the lowest in Europe. Companies operating within Free Economic Zones may qualify for a 10-year tax holiday. Serbia also has bilateral free trade agreements with 22+ countries, including Russia, China, and the EU bloc.
Do I need to form a local entity to hire in Serbia?
No. Through our Employer of Record (EOR) service, you can legally employ Serbian staff without establishing a local legal entity. We act as the legal employer on record and handle contracts, payroll, social contributions, and compliance.
Do you help with housing and school placement?
Yes — our personal relocation division handles both. We assist with property search (rental or purchase), lease or purchase agreements, and international school placement across Belgrade, Novi Sad, and other cities working with local agents and partners.
What does the citizenship by descent process involve?
Citizenship by descent requires tracing and documenting Serbian ancestry (typically one Serbian-born grandparent or parent). We handle lineage research, document retrieval, translation, legalisation, and the full application to the Serbian Ministry of Interior. Timelines vary based on archive accessibility.
